Hourly Lessons

These are lessons which can be of any length between 1 and 2 hours, taken on a weekly basis or as required. I would recommend a 2 hour session once a week as a minimum. I have found from experience that a lesson lasting 2 hours tends to be the most productive. Being able to have regular lessons really is the key to driving test success.

Motorway Lessons

If you have recently passed your driving test and have little or no experience driving on motorways, or if you are someone who does not get much opportunity to drive on motorways, these lessons may be of interest to you. Structured, informative lessons will help to build up your confidence and increase your knowledge, which will ultimately lead to you feeling safer when you need to drive on these busy roads.

Refresher Lessons

Would you like to brush up on your driving skills ? Maybe you have not driven for some time, or you passed your test and haven’t had much practice since, perhaps you might have had a break from driving for some reason. If any of this sounds familiar, then a refresher course could be ideal for you. I can help you enjoy driving in a relaxed and informal manner, on a one to one basis focusing on whatever you feel you most need.

Pass Plus

The Pass Plus scheme has been developed for newly qualified drivers by various bodies, including the Driving Standards Agency (DSA). The course is designed to improve your skills in areas where you may have little experience and reduce the risk of being involved in road accidents. The course consists of 6 modules;

  • Introduction and Town Driving
  • All Weather Driving
  • Out Of Town Driving & Rural Areas
  • Night Driving
  • Dual Carriageways
  • Motorways

The course is conducted over 6 modules, which total a minimum of 6 hours in car training. After successful completion of the course you will receive a certificate from the DSA which you can then use to claim a discount on your car insurance from participating insurance companies, which can be up to 30%.

Intensive Courses

These are courses which are intended for pupils who do not have very much time available to learn to drive. It is important to remember that you need to have passed your theory test before you can apply for your manual driving test, which is something to bear in mind if you are in a real hurry to get on the road. Please contact me to discuss what might suit you best regarding both intensive and semi intensive courses, as I prefer to tailor them specifically to the needs of each individual pupil.
